Jeanette Miriam Lorenz

Senior Scientist

PD Dr. Jeanette Miriam Lorenz has many years of research experience in experimental high-energy particle physics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich and at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). Her specialty is the search for dark matter particle candidates at the Large Hadron Collider. She received her PhD with honors from LMU Munich in 2014 and her habilitation in 2020. She has led numerous international research groups both at LMU Munich and at CERN.

Since April 2021, Jeanette Lorenz has been working as a Senior Scientist at Fraunhofer IKS on enabling reliable and robust quantum computing.

She is the author of numerous scientific publications and teaches at the Faculty of Physics at LMU Munich as a private lecturer.
