Senior Scientist »Safety Assurance for AI«

Dr. Chih-Hong Cheng is senior scientist at the research department "Safety Assurance for AI" at Fraunhofer IKS. He is also a substitute professor at the Technical University of Munich. His research interests include formal methods and AI/ML for trustworthy autonomy. These competencies are scientifically underpinned by publications, among other things, and are also based on many years of expertise in the field of safety engineering. He is one of the pioneers in developing algorithms for formal neural network verification. Mr. Cheng received his PhD in computer science from the Technical University of Munich.
