Michael Stiller is currently a Business Development Manager at Fraunhofer IKS. Previously, he led a number of research projects in the area of IIoT / Industry 4.0. These included research into fog and edge -computing approaches for complex agricultural machinery and cloud-based service-oriented control architectures for industrial use.

Leaving cooperative, heterogeneous robots alone in unstructured environments isn’t such a good idea. After all, only with an AI-powered management solution will they be able to solve complex tasks without causing any damage. The Fraunhofer IKS is working on developing such a system.
