Petra Steffens

For more than 15 years Petra Steffens has been involved in the digital transformation of the public sector. She has carried out numerous eGovernment projects on behalf of state governments, federal ministries and public sector organizations. Her professional focus is on software architectures, on innovation and change management, and on IT governance issues for distributed organizations. Since 2019, she led the innovation program "Cognitive Systems" at Fraunhofer IKS and the start-up project funded by the Free State of Bavaria for the thematic reorientation of the institute. She was also involved in the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft as a mentor for young female scientists.
