Adelina Bärligea

Adelina Bärligea studied physics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), specializing in quantum computing. She completed her Master’s thesis at the Fraunhofer Institute for Cognitive Systems IKS in 2024 with PD Dr. habil. Jeanette M. Lorenz and received the Quantum Future Award from the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space in 2025 for this work. Since 2025, she has been pursuing a PhD in quantum algorithms at the University of Augsburg. Her research focuses on the scalability, limitations, and application potential of quantum algorithms, particularly in optimization and quantum chemistry.
